Fortnite: How to Find and Unlock Fortbyte 91

Fortnite: How to Find and Unlock Fortbyte 91

Season 9 of Epic’s wildly popular Battle Royale game, Fortnite, arrived last month and as many expected, the change in season also triggered a lot of in-game changes. In addition to the typical map evolutions, new battle pass content, and futuristic style, the other big addition in season 9 is the introduction of Fortbytes.

Introduced inside of the Season 9 Battle Pass, Fortbytes are little microchips hidden around the Battle Royale map for players to find. The catch here is that there are 100 of them to find in total, with new ones getting added on a daily basis. In order to find them, players need to solve a clue which will give away its location. Fortbyte 91 is the latest chip to be added to the game and here’s how to find it.

In order to find this microchip, players need to solve the clue of “found at a location hidden within Loading Screen #4.” While part of this clue requires players solve about four weeks worth of Fortnite Battle Royal challenges in order to unlock Loading Screen #4, it isn’t a requirement to unlock the microchip if the location is known already.

In this case, players will want to drop into Paradise Palms. Once here, the microchip can be found right off the main road running through the small town next to a green bench in front of the Keyboard King storefront. One thing to note is that this is a fairly open area with good sight lines, so it’s entirely possible to run into other players here especially those also attempting to grab Fortbyte 91.

With 99 other Fortbytes to find through the entirety of season 9, Epic Games is certainly hoping to keep players coming back day after day more so than they already do. Those looking to continue to grow their collection can find guides on some of the other hidden collectibles as well like FortByte 41 and 79.

In other Fortnite news, Epic Appears to be preparing a brand new in-game event fresh off of the Michael Jordan and Avengers content. Recently, players have found a giant eyeball encased in Polar Peak that many have begun to assume is some sort of tie in event to the latest Godzilla movie that just launched in theaters. Even if it’s not related, something is clearly coming, as Epic has done plenty of map evolutions over the years through major in-game events involving things like comets, rifts, giant purple cubes, and more.

Fortnite is out now in early access for Android, iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
